What are affirmations ?
Affirmations are positive statements that describe in positive words a desired situation, event, habit or goal, and which are repeated mentally or aloud. When these statements are repeated often, they eventually take root in the subconscious mind and influence it to act accordingly.
This is really about reprogramming your mind and how you respond to life. That’s where your manifesting power is. Any habit can be changed. That is also true for habits of mind.

How Affirmations Work
When you repeat Affirmations with faith, earnestness and attention, they change the programming of your subconscious mind, which in consequence transforms the way you think, your habits, attitudes and skills, and helps you create a better life and attract new opportunities.
Your subconscious mind accepts as true what you keep saying, and eventually attracts corresponding events and situations into your life, irrespective whether they are good or bad for you, so why not choose only positive statements?

From my experience as a Life coach and a Style coach, it constantly surprises me how many women are abusing their bodies with the most awful statements, while I see a beautiful girl in front of me. Over time their bodies shut down to protect their well being and the disconnection is getting bigger by the day.We can retrain our brain and our selves to see our bodies from a different perspective and as we do. Our body starts cooperating with us to reach our common goals of feeling and looking our best.
Start a new, positive conversation with your body and start embracing it with love it deserves. Our bodies are little miracles that we need to respect and take a good care of with our thoughts, words and healthy habits.
Here are some examples of my favorite affirmations:
- I feel beautiful, healthy and happy today .
- I love my body. I love my skin, my arms, my feminine shape, my legs, my hair….(you can create your own version).
- I take a good care of my body. I give it good food, I play and relax and do my best to maintain balance in my life.
- My favorite part of my body is……….., because……….(fill in the blanks and have fun with this one).
- I walk proud and confidant wherever I go. I accept compliments easily.
- I honor my body with great wardrobe to express how much I enjoy my body shape.
- I deserve the best.
This is a great book. It has many easy beauty tips and has more “Beauty mantras” as well. Take a trip to chapters, get a cup of coffee and do some positive reading. You ll enjoy this one.
