The First fact I would like to talk about is that the Law of Attraction only have one simple thing to do over and over again every day, all day. It only matches your vibration- your state of mind/state of your being with corresponding (like) experiences. It doesn’t judge your state of mind at all, it will only compliment your choice of thoughts and the way you feel in the moment with experiences of the same vibration.
Fact #1 : The Law of Attraction is only a mirroring/reflecting mechanism
What do I mean by that? The LOA only matches your vibration/state of being.
In other words, we don’t attract what we want, we attract WHO WE ARE. NO EXCEPTION. If you worry a lot, you ll get/attract more to worry about. If you are happy, you ll get more opportunities to experience more happiness. You are fully in control and your focus is the tool you can use to get behind the wheel and choose where you wan to go next.
One of the biggest reasons why many people say that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for them is the very common habits that we as human being have developed and that is living in our past or our future. We are constantly thinking about what was or what will be, analyzing the past and our selves based on what happened to us regretting, fearing things…. contemplating the future. Many times we recycle thoughts, stories in our head that create the worst energy/state of being point to attract from. It is the our need to be in control that sends our energy in these two directions. If The Law of Attraction would be a person, it would be very different than the average human being for a very simple reason:
Fact #2 :The Law of Attraction is always PRESENT
Time does not exist for this universal law. It always matches your state of being and your thoughts NOW. Whatever you are focusing on NOW you will get more of. It is really amazing, because so many times we think we cannot attract things because of something that happened to us, or something we did or didn’t do in the past.
The Law of Attraction doesn’t care who you were and what you have done in previous 20, 30… years of your life.
Each present moment is your new point of attraction.
Isn’t that wonderful? Every day, in every moment you are starting brand new, but if you choose to focus your thoughts and energy in your past or the hypothetical future, you will be recreating your past or “pre-paving” your future. If you are frustrated about your past or worried about your future, this could be a big problem, but as I said your choice is always respected and matched with more of the things you are focusing on.
Your breath is your connection to the present moment
It may be challenging to learn to be present all the time, but it is well worth it. I found, that the easiest and fastest way to become fully present is to be aware of my breath. Just focusing on my breathing for a few minutes can ground me back in the present moment. It also has many other benefits as our bodies react physically in many positive ways to our effort to harmonize our breath when we take a few deep, long, relaxing breaths.
Here is a video from one of my favorite authors Sonia Choquette where she shares some of her favorite breathing techniques. I hope you’ll enjoy it.
